Patricia Ann Johns

Patricia Ann Johns, 88, of Canonsburg, formerly of Bellmead Apartments, Washington, died Monday, October 13, 2014, in Golden Living Center, Canonsburg. She was born January 21, 1926, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of Frank Trofka and Olga DeLotta Trofka. Mrs. Johns was a chef at Washington Country Club for eight years and Lou Kairy’s for eight years. She was a foster mother and grandmother until the age of 80. Mrs. Johns was Catholic by faith. Surviving are a son, Larry K. Dunkle (Laurie) of Montana; two daughters, Barbara A. Craig (Larry) of Greenville, Texas and Deborah E. Carl (John) of Avella; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Deceased are her husband, Paul E. Johns, and a daughter, Janet L. Firanski. A private graveside service in Washington Cemetery will be held at a later date.
