Norma Brown Smith, 89 of Washington died, Friday, October 17, 2014 at the Donnell House.
She was born September 1, 1925, in Pittsburgh, the daughter of the late James Brown and Mary Boyd Brown.
Norma was employed as a receptionist at Snee-Snee-Stacher-McCormick.
She was a member of the Church of the Covenant and a member of the Washington Country Club, where she was an avid golfer.
Norma enjoyed crafts, cooking, floral arranging and especially spending time with her family.
Surviving are a son, Edward C. (Pam) Smith of Woodbine, MD; three grandchildren, Daniel and Christine Smith and Lauren Davoli; a great
grandchild, Marleigh Johnson; son in law, Brian Davoli.
Deceased are a daughter, Susan Ann Davoli; a brother, James Brown; a sister, Elizabeth George.
Friends will be received Monday, October 20, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd, 925 Allison Ave, Washington. Additional visitation will be held Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Services will be held Tuesday, October 21, at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of the Covenant, 267 Beau St, Washington. Burial is private.
