John Francis Plymire

John Francis Plymire, 83 of Washington, died Saturday, October 11, 2014 at home, following a lengthy illness. He was born March 10, 1931 in Washington the son of the late Theodore and Alice McVehil Plymire. John was a 1949 graduate of Trinity High School and was self employed doing plumbing and heating. He formerly worked at McVehil Plumbing. He enjoyed wood working and working with his hands. John was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. On October 23, 1952 he married Dorothy Ann Amon, who died October 22, 2008. Surviving are two sons, Gary W. Plymire and John R. Plymire both of Washington; two daughters, Sherry Lynn Plymire and Karen L. (David) Lewis both of Washington; four grandchildren, Toya Gabeletto, Minoy Lewis, Cody Beck and Melissa Davis; a great grandchild, Olivia. All services where private. Arrangements were handled by William G. Neal Funeral Homes., 925 Allison Ave, Washington.
