Anna Lee Harris, 92, of Daisytown, died Friday, October 24, 2014, in Washington County Health Center.
She was born January 25, 1922, in Erbacon, West Virginia, a daughter of Albert Holcomb and Gertrude Wilson Holcomb.
Mrs. Harris was a homemaker who enjoyed reading, gardening and spending time with family.
On December 25, 1936, she married Clay Harris, who died March 3, 1990.
Surviving are her children, Lorena Yenny of Daisytown, Wilma Yates (Carl) of Bentleyville, Patricia Peters (James) of Pembroke, Virginia, Carol Comfort (Sam) of Washington and David Harris (Stefanie) of Washington; grandchildren, Mary Ann Yenny, Peggy Quail (Doug), Nancy Yelinek (Steve), John Yenny (Francine), Linda Yenny, James Yenny, Matthew Yates (Kathy), James Clay Peters (Diane), Charity Forbes (Charles), Rebecca Peters, Heather Ausher (Jeff), Sam Comfort, Clay Harris and Caleb Harris; 11 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Paul Holcomb of Middlefield, Ohio.
Deceased are a son, Howard Harris, who died in infancy; a daughter, Helen Harris, who died in infancy; eight brothers, and two sisters.
Friend will be received Monday from 4 till 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, October 28th, with Pastor Douglas Quail officiating. Burial will follow in Pigeon Creek Cemetery.
