Nathan Charles Ellis, 25 of Ellsworth, died on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 in UPMC – Hamot, Erie.
He was born on September 21, 1989, in Washington, a son of Charles Ellis and Deborah Allen.
Nathan worked at Tim’s Carwash and was a football and basketball player.
A devoted father, he loved taking care of his son.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a son Zymere Ellis; six brothers, Cedric (Justine) Thomas of Canonsburg, Jordan Thomas of Ellsworth, Ryan Ellis (his twin) of Ellsworth, Kameron Ellis of Washington, Bryan Thomas of Washington, and Rhamir Thomas of Washington; two sisters, Sierra Ellis of Washington, and Sequoya Detwiler of Monesson; paternal grandparents, William (Vicki) Chandler, and Patricia Ellis; maternal grandparents, Lloyd (Charlene) Allen, and Mildred Amos; step parents, Nichole Savage and Harvey Hall; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, 925 Allison Ave, Washington, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, November 5, 2014, with Rev. Myron Jones officiating.
Burial will follow in the Washington Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
