Virginia "Jenny" Lee Wigman

Virginia Lee Adams Wigman “Jenny”, 75 of Prosperity, died Saturday, November 8, 2014 at the Donnell House. She had been in declining health for the past 10 years. She was born, January 8, 1939 in Claysville, the daughter of the late Walter L. and Effie M. Brooks Adams. Jenny was a homemaker. She was a former member of Liberty Methodist Church, American Legion Edwin Scott Linton Post 175, Morris Township Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, where she was past president. When health permitted, she enjoyed camping, riding horses, and gardening and was an excellent cook. Jenny and her husband loved cutting their four acres of grass using dueling tractors, and together were beautiful dancers. She loved raising her family in Prosperity. Jenny is survived by her husband, Edward Wigman III. They celebrated 58 years of marriage on October 27, 2014. She was able to meet her newest great grandson, Erich Paul Wigman Also surviving are two sons Keith Edward Wigman (Shane Bannister) Wigman of Phoenix, AZ, Jeffrey Paul Wigman (Alison) of Washington; two daughters, Kathy Lynn Wigman -Lesnock (Douglas) of West Finley, Janey Ann Wigman-Byers (Timothy) of Claysville; a brother, Clyde Adams of Prosperity; two sisters, Laura Ellen Varner of Washington, Nancy Jane Ambrose of Wellsburg, WV; seven grandchildren, Jason Paul Wigman (Brittany), Lindsey Allene Lesnock-Shape (Terry), Austin Douglas Lesnock, Griffith Evan Lesnock, Hilary Jane Byers, Megan Nicole Wigman-McGee, (Joey), Rachel Lynn Byers; two great grandchildren, Colt Edward Shape and Erich Paul Wigman Deceased are a son, Walter Griffith Wigman (who died in infancy); three brothers, Harold, Walter and Charles Adams; three sisters, Mary Lou, Ethel Mae, Nell Rose and Louise (who died in infancy). Burial is private, but a Public Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. at Upper Ten Mile Presbyterian Church, 25 Church Lane, Prosperity, PA., with Pastor Larry Deemer officiating. Arrangements are being handled by William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd. 925 Allison Ave, Washington.
