Mary Ellen Winfield

Mary Ellen Winfield, 80 of Washington, died Thursday, November 13, 2014 at the Washington County Health Center. She was born May 20, 1934 in Washington the daughter of the late William Dickson Roberts and Hilda Elizabeth Bennington Roberts. Mary Ellen was a homemaker and a member of West Washington Methodist Church. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. On September 29, 1950 she married Roy Albert Winfield Sr., who died November 23, 1992. Surviving are four sons, Robert Winfield of Bridgeville, David (April) Winfield of Wintersville, OH, Chris Winfield of Charlottsville, VA, Roy (Tracy) Winfield Jr. or Washington; a sister Betty Jean Humbert of Washington; twelve grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren. Deceased is a brother Donald Edward Roberts. Friends will be received Sunday, November 16, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd, 925 Allison Ave, Washington, where services will be held Monday, November 17 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Michael Roach officiating. Burial will follow at Washington Cemetery.
