Eleanor Ruth Smith

Eleanor Ruth Smith, 80 of Washington died Friday, November 28, 2014 at Transitions Healthcare, formerly Humbert Lane. She was born October 7, 1934 in Washington the daughter of the late Albert Louis Huggins and Mary Elizabeth Horner Huggins. Her friends and church family from Abundant Life Baptist Church were a very important part of her life. Eleanor was a nursing assistant. She liked jigsaw puzzles, Thomas Kinkade, gardening and collecting angels. Eleanor loved and cherished her children, grandchildren and family. Surviving are a daughter, Debra Ullom of Washington; four grandchildren, Christy Rutan, Rachel (Kerry) Jackson, Kevin Toth and Kaiti Ullom; two great grandchildren, Dalton and Jacob Fonner. Deceased are two daughters, Annetta Griest, Doreen Toth; two brothers, Louis and Donald Huggins; a sister, Norma Macinia. A gathering of friends will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 from 4 to 5 p.m. at Abundant Life Baptist Church, 269 Cameron Rd, Washington, where services will be held at 5:00 p.m. with Rev. George Garancosky officiating.
