Lula Myers “Me-Maw” Kolcun, 89 of Washington, died Monday, December 1, 2014 at UPMC Montefiore.
She was born April 8, 1925 in Washington, the daughter of the late Boyd Herbert Slusser and Daisy Margaret Cunningham.
Lula was a1944 graduate of Trinity High School.
She was a Licensed Practical Nurse at Mayview for 25 years.
She was a very devoted Methodist.
Lula was a very accomplished baker and loved her cat.
In 1949, she married Frank H. Myers who died in 1971. In 1974, she married Ray Kolcun who died in 1979.
Surviving are two sons, Timothy (Michelle) Clough of German Town, TN, Gary H. Myers of Monroeville; two daughters, Melissa (Robert) Beam of Pittsburgh, Arlene Morris of Mt. Pleasant, SC; a brother Frank Magnone of Washington; a sister Elizabeth (Arnold) Welch of Washington; four grandchildren, Patrick (Carrie) Clough, Joseph (Katie) Clough, Christina (Joseph) Morascyzk, Carolyn (Sanjit) Khara; 10 great grandchildren, and a special friend and caretaker, JoAnn Putnam.
Deceased in addtion to her parents and husbands are two great grandchildren, Rose Mari eand Lula Levern Morazcyzk.
Friends will be received Wednesday, December 3, 2014 ,from 4 to 7 p.m., at William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd, 925 Allison Ave, Washington, where services will be held Thursday, December 4th at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Gardens.
