Clara Louise Young, 85, of Washington, died Thursday, December 11, 2014, in Southmont of Presbyterian Senior Care. She was born June 24, 1929, in Greenup, Kentucky, a daughter of Farris and Anna Boggs Fraley. Mrs. Young was a homemaker and member of Park Avenue Baptist Church. Over the years, she had been a foster mother to 13 children. On May 29, 1947, she married Morse Young, who died April 30, 2014. Surviving are four sons, James (Deborah) Young of Mechanicsburg, Ohio, Robert L. Young of North Carolina, Robert L. (Amy) Young of Washington, and Larry Young of Washington; three daughters, Barbara (Richard) King of Springfield, Ohio, Wanda Young of Washington and Nichole (Scott) Swemley of Washington; three brothers, Gene Fraley of Plain City, Ohio, Charles Fraley of Washington Court House, Ohio and Paul Fraley of Indianapolis, Indiana; a sister, Mozella Sparks of Plain City, Ohio; five grandchildren, Sean King, Shannon King, Robert Young, Randall Young and Joshua Young; eight great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and Rhea Young, mother of Robert and Randall Young. Deceased are brothers Clifton and Jonas Fraley; and sisters, Janie and Augusta Fraley. Friends will be received Monday from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m., the time of service, in Park Avenue Baptist Church, 3750 Park Avenue, Washington, with Pastor Larry Leonard officiating. Burial will be private in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
