Keith Benson Bricker, 82, of Washington, died Wednesday, December 31, 2014, in his home.
He was born July 17, 1932, in Washington, a son of the late Lloyd Murphy Bricker and Elizabeth Vaughn Snyder Bricker.
Mr. Bricker graduated from Trinity High School and worked at Jessop Steel for 40 years. A member of the Trinity School Board for 18 years (1978-95), he served as vice president in 1984 and 1995 and as president from 1986-1989. In addition, he was past president of Intermediate Unit 1.
Mr. Bricker was a member of First Christian Church, where he served as an elder and deacon, American Legion Edwin Scott Linton Post 175, and Tall Cedars of Lebanon. In addition, he was a mason and member of Sunset Lodge 623.
Mr. Bricker served in the Army from January 8, 1953, until his honorable discharge on January 7, 1955, with a rank of corporal. He received the National Defense Service Medal.
On October 18, 1952, in Winchester, Virginia, he married Betty Brookman, who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Catherine (Donald) Frederico of Sherborn, Massachusetts, Sharon (Dr. Andrew) Lucas of Washington and Robin (John) Hughes of Washington; a sister, Margaret Farabee of Amity; seven grandchildren, Matthew, Michael and Marissa Lucas, Brian, Stephen and Alyssa Frederico and Kristen Hughes; and two great-grandchildren, Macie Lucas and Benson Lucas.
Deceased is a brother, Lloyd Park Bricker.
Friends will be received Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m., and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, January 5th, with Rev. Steven Smythers officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
Masonic Services will be held in the funeral home at 7:30 p.m., Sunday, January 4th.
