Dorothy Jane Jordan, 94, of Washington, died Wednesday, January 28, 2015, in Presbyterian Senior Care.
She was born October 10, 1920, in Washington, a daughter of John Lawrence McIsaac and Mary Kriglein McIsaac.
Mrs. Jordan graduated from Washington High School in 1939, and, since her 30th class reunion, served as the class secretary.
She worked at Sample’s Taxi and Snyder’s Answering Service.
Mrs. Jordan was a member of SOAR – Steel Workers Organization of Active Retirees.
She and her husband traveled extensively and spent winters in Florida following retirement.
On December 22, 1939, she married Guy Raymond Jordan, who died June 28, 1997.
Surviving are two daughters, Lynda Jordan (Jim) Catherine of Washington and Cheryl Jordan Stock of Washington; five grandchildren, James C. (Kim) Catherine, Charles R. Catherine, Jay C. (Jen) Catherine, Laurel Stock (Jon) Celani and Natalie Stock (Erik) McMillen; 11 great-grandchildren, Faith, James, Christian, Carley, Brooke, Janie, and Juliana Catherine, Jorie and Peyton Celani, Guy Markley and Erik McMillen, Jr.; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are three sisters, Peggy Carroll, Rita Carroll and Judy Goedeker.
Friends will be received Friday from 4 till 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, January 31st. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
