Rita Jenkins

Rita Jenkins, 82, of Washington, died Sunday, February 1, 2015, in The Washington County Health Center. She was born April 20, 1932, in Washington, a daughter of the late Cedar Evans and Catherine Cole Evans. Mrs. Jenkins was a homemaker who loved to read and play bingo. On November 27, 1961, she married Willis Jenkins, who died April 26, 2006. Surviving are a son, George Evans of Washington; two daughters, Tracy Anesetti (Kevin) and Darlene Remaley, both of Washington; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Deceased are a son, Terry Evans, who died November 3, 2014, and 14 brothers and sisters. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, February 5th. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
