Joseph Danial Ardeno, Sr., 67, of Washington, died Friday, February 6, 2015.
He was born October 8, 1947, in Washington, a son of the late Frank Ardeno Sr. and Anna Marie Daily Ardeno.
For the past two years, Mr. Ardeno worked as a driver for Tri-State Auto Auction. Previously, he worked for Waste Management for 25 years and was an auxiliary police officer.
He enjoyed motorcycles, coon hunting and going to the casino.
Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Ann Hartzog Ardeno; his companion, Carol Wilson, with whom he made his home for the past 32 years; four sons, Joe (CeeCee) Ardeno, Jr., and Jerry Ardeno, both of Washington, Gary (Candy) Ardeno of West Alexander, and Kory (Brittany) Ardeno of Ft. Carson, Colorado; two daughters, Dianna (Douglas) Appleby of Washington and Kacie Ardeno of Muse;
Three brothers, John Ardeno, Michael Ardeno and Victor Charles Ardeno, all of Washington; eight grandchildren, Sarah, Nick, Kansas, Justin, Jordan, Dylan, Anthony and Nevaeh; and three great-grandchildren, Chase, Rylee “Tinkerbell” and Jaxon.
Deceased is a brother, Frank Ardeno, Jr.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, February 11th, with Rev. Keith Hornung officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
