Pauline Mae Bird, 67, of Claysville, died Tuesday, February 10, 2015, in her home.
She was born September 5, 1947, in Washington, a daughter of the late Paul Russell and Betty Jane Byrd.
Mrs. Bird was a homemaker.
Surviving are her husband, Larry Wayne Bird, Sr.; three sons, Merle “Butch” (Shirley) Harps, William Harps and Larry (Debra) Bird, Jr., all of Washington; two daughters, Carla (John) Smith and Tina (Robert) Lilley, both of Claysville; five brothers, Jimmy Riggans of Bradenton, Florida, Dennis (Margie) Riggans of Ohio, Kevin Riggans and Henry (Deb) Byrd, both of Washington, and John Byrd of Claysville; five sisters, Shirley Chaffin of California, Linda Wolfe of Mansfield, Ohio, Sue (Raymond) Riggans of Claysville, Deb Riggans of Canonsburg and Jeannette Phillips of Washington; 21 grandchildren, Alisha, Angie, Christina, Brandon, Amanda, Roger, Kevin, Jamie, James, Johnny, Josh, Nate, Dusty, Dalton, Aliyah, Kayla, Karla, Bill, Justin, Nikki, and Tiffany; and several great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, Jonathan “Mark” Riggans.
Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, February 13th, with Patty McDade officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
