Virginia Rebecca Miller

Virginia Rebecca Miller, 87 of Washington, died Friday, April 3, 2015 at home following a lengthy illness. She was born August 3, 1927 in Avella the daughter of the late John J. Zebrasky and Virginia West Zebrasky. She graduated from Avella High School and a member of Fourth Presbyterian Church. Virginia was a homemaker and enjoyed working around her house and gardening. On September 19, 1953 she married Charles Vincent Miller who died August 20, 1998. Surviving are a son, Gary W. Miller of Washington; a daughter, Karen (Brett) Hoop of Hickory; four grandchildren, Kristen Miller, Nathan (Andrea) Miller, Cody Hoop and Kaitlin Hoop; three great grandchildren, Anna, Noah and Sarah. Friends will be received Monday, April 6, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, where services will be held Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Robert Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Washington Cemetery.
