Shirley K. Korpus

Shirley K. Korpus, 74, of Washington, died on Friday, May 8, 2015, in the Washington Hospital. She was born on December 1, 1940, in Franklin Township, a daughter of the late Arthur Harold and Nellie Jane Huffman Graham. A graduate of Washington High School, she worked as a customer service representative, for many years. Shirley loved her grandchildren, and NASCAR Racing, she also enjoyed casinos and family get-togethers. On October 12, 1963, she married Charles Michael Korpus, who died on December 30, 1991. Surviving, are two sons, Michael (Jodie) Korpus, of Scenery Hill, and Kurt (Renee) Korpus, of Washington; a daughter, Kay (Michael) Locy, of Washington; a brother, Arthur (Alice) Graham, Jr., of Amity; and seven grandchildren, Colton, Courtney, Garrett, Kelly, and Sam Korpus, and Chet and Brooke Locy. Friends will be received on Monday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 12, 2015, with Pastor Linda Mankey officiating. Burial will follow in Rosemont Cemetery, Greene County.
