Willetta J. Lightfoot, 75, of Washington, died on Thursday, June 4, 2015, at Transitions Healthcare, in Washington. She was born on November 14, 1939, in Washington, the daughter of the late Louis and Mildred Wilson.
She was a graduate of Washington High School.
Ms. Lightfoot retired from Superior Valve, with over 30 years of service. Prior to that she worked at Washington Hospital as a Nurse’s Aid.
The love of her life was her children and grandchildren.
Surviving are a son, Aaron Victor Lightfoot, of Washington, two sisters, Jacqueline Wilson, of Buffalo, NY, and Cynthia Wilson, of Harrisburg, a brother, Jerry (Karen) Wilson, of Washington, a grandson, Desmond Lightfoot, of Washington, a granddaughter, McKenzie Lightfoot, of Washington, three great grandchildren, three aunts, Ella Mae Parham, of Buffalo, NY, Evelyn Cheatham, of Belle Vernon, and Deloris Lacey, of Washington, a sister-in-law, Gracie Lightfoot, several nieces and nephews, a few cousins, and many good friends.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, are her daughter, Kimberly Lightfoot, a brother, Michael Wilson, and her husband, Philander Lightfoot.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 7, 2015, at 11:00 a.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington.
