Elizabeth Marie Mccorkle

Elizabeth Marie Atkinson McCorkle, 60, of Washington, died Tuesday, August 11, 2015, in Transitions Health Care. She was born March 2, 1955, in Washington, a daughter of Lila Pirrung Atkinson of Washington and the late Robert Atkinson. Mrs. McCorkle graduated from Trinity High School and worked as a nursing aid at Townview Health and Rehabilitation. On June 29, 1985, she married Curtis McCorkle, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Curtis Oliver McCorkle of Washington; a brother, John Atkinson (Patty) of Washington; a sister, Janet Atkinson of Charleroi; and several nieces and nephews, including Beth Harton, Holly Atkinson, David Harton and Frank Molinaro. Friends will be received on Friday from Noon till 4 p.m., the time of service, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
