Arleen Jane Malarkey

Arleen Jane Malarkey, 75 of Washington, died Friday, October 9, 2015 at the Donnell House. She was born October 7, 1940 in Washington, the daughter of the late Joseph Francis Samida and Annabelle Bainbridge Samida. Arleen graduated from Trinity High School in 1959, was employed as an Administrative Assistant for an Interior Designer for 12 years and was a Real Estate agent at the former FFV Reality. She was a member of Fairhill Manor Christian Church. Arleen enjoyed crafts, social networking and was instrumental in organizing social events for the community in which she lived. She lived in Florida for 25 years and was an animal lover, especially horses. On January 28, 1971, she married Paul W. Malarkey, who died April 29, 2009. Surviving is a brother, John Samida of Shadyside, OH and two stepsons, Bob and Paul Malarkey. At the request of the deceased there will be no public visitation. Arrangements are being handled by William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington.
