Eleanor Marie Roth

Eleanor Marie Devenney Roth, 82, of Washington, died on Sunday, December 6, 2015, in the Washington Hospital. She was born on August 12, 1933, in Washington, a daughter of the late Thomas F. and Hazel Rizor Devenney. She was a homemaker. On July 23, 1955, she married Lawrence Anthony Roth, who died on November 19, 2006. Surviving are a son, Lawrence A. (Julie Ann) Roth, II, of Washington; two daughters, Ava M. (Rick) Prutzman, of Washington, and Lois A. (Curtis) Johnson, of Valley Grove, WV; six grandchildren, Stephanie (Brandon) Moss, Nicholas Roth, Michael and Jennifer Prutzman, and Erin and Curtis Johnson, II; and two great grandchildren, Sadie L. Moss and Jude A. Moss. Deceased, are a brother, Thomas F. Devenney, Jr., and four sisters, Opal Mitchell, Dorothy Burns, Jean Roberts and Betty Wright. Friends will be received on Wednesday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8:00 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, where service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 10, 2015, with Rev. Sue Petritis officiating.
