Jane Balser Boyd, 81, of Lagrange, Ohio, died January 21, 2016, in Metro Health Medical Center, Cleveland, Ohio.
She was born June 24, 1934, in Rural Butler, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Robert Balser and Alma Chase Balser Dunkle.
A homemaker, Mrs. Boyd was a member of Roadside Chapel in Pleasant Grove and Stoney Point Community Sewing Circle. She enjoyed quilting, sewing and baking.
Surviving are children, Raymond (Tanya) Lindbom of Pembroke, Kentucky, Arthur (Kim) Wilson of North Carolina and Alma Wilson of Lagrange, Ohio; stepchildren, Charles Wilson of Ohio and Ronnie Wilson of California; a step daughter-in-law, Barbie Wilson of Tennessee; siblings, Fred (Barb) Balser of Lecanto, Florida, Karen Revis of Pennsylvania and Edie (Paul) O’Brian of California; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, David Lee Shafer; a stepson, Carl Wilson; a brother, Robert Martin Balser, Jr.; and two sisters, Ann Hostutler and Marjorie Ellen Balser.
Friends will be received on Saturday, January 30th, from Noon till 2 p.m., the time of service, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Burial will follow in Prosperity Cemetery.
