Laura Wise

Laura Wise, 87, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 31, 2016, in The Residence at Hilltop, Monongahela. She was born April 18, 1928, in Washington, a daughter of William T. and Edna Myrtle Barker Fisher. Mrs. Wise was a homemaker. She was a member of Friendship Community Church and formerly a member of Grace Brethren Church. On July 8, 1948, she married Frank Wesley Wise, Sr., who died April 21, 2007. Surviving are a son, Frank Wise, Jr., of Washington; and four daughters, Cindy (Denny) Malone of Washington; Eva (Bill) Czmiel of Greene County, Kathy (Bill) Mills of Somerset and Laurie (Rev. Stan) Rogers of Fairchance; 23 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are a son, Ronald L. Grimm; three brothers, William, James and David; and three sisters, Georgia, Helen and Margaret. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, February 4th, with Rev. Rick Bruckner officiating. Burial will follow in Upper Buffalo Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Friendship Community Church, PO Box J, Washington, PA 15301.
