Lily Hendricksen

Lily Hendricksen, 93, of Hickory, died Thursday, February 11, 2016, in her home. She was born February 28, 1922, in New York City, a daughter of August and Lily Loretta Ross Jenkins. A homemaker, Mrs. Hendricksen enjoyed ceramics and was a member of the Red Hat Society. On February 28, 1946, she married Edwin Hendricksen, who died December 8, 2005. Surviving are a son, Ed (Susan) Hendricksen of Washington; four daughters, Joan (Donald) Ross of Leesburg, Florida, Lily (Alan) Carroll of Steubenville, Ohio, Judee (Joe) Everly of New Cumberland, West Virginia, and Dorothy (Tom) Jones of North Canton, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
