Rickie Thomas Boardley

Rickie Thomas Boardley, 59 of Washington, died Friday, July 29, 2016 at home. He was born November 16, 1956 in Washington, the son of Mary Jane Romano Boardley of Washington and the late Paul William Boardley. Rickie worked at Brockway Glass Plant #7 and Caterpillar in Houston. He loved to go to Disney World with his family and enjoyed spending time with his family. He also loved his dogs, Kain, who is deceased and Corn Dog. On June 21, 1997 he married Donna Marie Rhodes, who survives. Also surviving are a son-stepson, Dwayne M. (Laura) Reis of Lexington, SC; a daughter, Sonya M. Reis of Washington; a daughter-step daughter, Jessica Ann Reis of Washington; three brothers, Roger Boardley, Kenny Boardley and William (Wanda) Boardley all of Washington; seven grandchildren, Sierra Ankrom, Blake Dingle, Faith Ann Edgar, Rickey Edgar, Patience Stokes, Emma Reis and Charlotte Reis. Deceased is a brother, Danny Boardley. Friends will be received Tuesday, August 2, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, where services will be held Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Rick Bruckner officiating. Burial is private.
