John Raymond Mccullough

John Raymond McCullough, 76 of Washington, died Sunday, July 31, 2016 at the Donnell House surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 21, 1939 in Pittsburgh, the son of the late William A. McCullough and Eva C. Fallat McCullough. John was a 1957 graduate of Crafton High School and retired from AT & T. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church and served in the National Guard. John was a passionate reader and he loved his wife and family and had a lot of special neighbors. He also loved to travel and take cruises. On September 14, 1962 he married Betty Jane Miller, who died November 2, 2005. Surviving are a son, John (Shawn Taylor) McCullough of Poulsbo, Washington; a daughter, Christine (Chuck) Maloy of Washington; a brother, Mark McNulty of Pittsburgh, two sisters, Judith (Gary) Miller of Oakdale and Patricia Passwaters of Arizona; two grandchildren, John Wesley and Jordan Christine McCullough; a nephew, Andrew (Andrea) Miller of Carnegie and their son Tyler William Passwaters of San Diego, CA;; sister in law, Barbara Slaughenhoupt of Mercer; special grand dog, Maggie Maloy. Deceased are two brothers, William and Robert McCullough; a sister, Rebecca Perry. Friends will be received Friday, August 5, 2016 from 2 to4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at the Washington Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial Contributions can be made the Washington Hospital, Citizens Library of the Washington Area Humane Society.
