Joyce Marie Swan

Joyce Marie Wilkinson Swan, 62, of Washington, died Saturday, July 30, 2016. She was born October 19, 1954 in Washington, the daughter of the late S. Dean Wilkinson and Edith Grimm Sprowls. Joyce was a graduate of Trinity High School and worked at Macy’s at Washington Crown Center. She was Christian by faith and loved going to Vegas every year for her anniversary, she also loved her grandkids, her friends and her customers at Macy’s. On July 22, 1972, she married Joseph Carman Swan, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Joseph C. (Carrie) Swan II of West Alexander, a daughter, Nicole (Jim) Conley of Canonsburg; two brothers, Clyde Wilkinson of Washington and Sam (Shonda) Wilkinson of Washington; two step brothers, Michael (June) Roach of Washington, Rusty (Judy) Roach of Lone Pine; a step sister, Kathy (Jim) McMillen of Baltimore, MD; three grandchildren, Jamie Conley, Carly Conley, Kadie Swan; and her step mother, Geneva Wilkinson of Washington. Deceased is a brother, Jeffrey Wilkinson. Friends will be received Wednesday, August 3, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, where services will be held Thursday, August 4, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Tom Bellhy officiating.
