Betty Lou Cossu, 68, of Washington, went to be with her Lord on Monday, October 10, 2016.
She was born December 27, 1947, in Washington, a daughter of the late Frank Cossu Sr. and Elsie Louise Willhoft Cossu.
Ms. Cossu graduated from McGuffey High School in 1966, and worked at Washington Harley Davidson for 10 years as an administrator.
Animals of all kinds were her passion -- she volunteered at Pet Search and was dedicated to animal rescue and adoption.
She enjoyed baking.
Surviving are a son, Michael Ivan Richardson of Atlanta, Georgia; a brother, Frank (Diane Charles) Cossu of Canonsburg; a sister, Mary Ann Cossu of Canonsburg; her beloved long-time companion, Ed Moninger; an aunt, JoAnn Cossu; and two special nieces, Tamera Brickl and Caitlyn Louise Cossu. Also surviving are David and Mark Cossu and Carol Cossu-Harris.
Deceased is a sister, Linda Lee Cossu.
Friends will be received Tuesay from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, October 12th. Burial will follow in North Buffalo Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
