Cheryl Ann Gendle

Cheryl Ann Gendle, 64 of Washington, died Saturday, December 31, 2016 at home. She was born January 21, 1952 in McKees Rocks, the daughter of the late Alex Nagy and Marion Blacka Nagy. Cheryl was a graduate of Sto-Rox High School and was the owner and operator of Cheryl’s Daycare, which had three locations. She enjoyed dancing, concerts, traveling, baking, vacationing by the sea, going to the casino and helping others and having fun. On April 21, 1990, she married Louis Gendle, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Michael Gendle, of Pittsburgh; two daughters, Heather (Nicholas) Gialloreto of Coraopolis, Ashley (Kevin) Thiel of Pittsburgh; two brothers, Steve Nagy of Cranberry and Alex “Butch” (Debbie) Nagy of McKees Rocks; a sister, Debbie (Satch) of Jencik of Florida; two grandchildren, Hunter and Jack Thiel .
