Jonathan "Mike" Killmeyer

  Jonathan Michael “Mike” Killmeyer, 60, of Washington, died January 19, 2017, in his home.   He was born November 12, 1956, in Washington, a son of the late William C. Killmeyer and Ethel Greene Killmeyer.   A 1974 graduate of Trinity High School, Mr. Killmeyer worked as a rehabilitation aid at Western Center.   He loved classic rock music and enjoyed fishing for bluegill, golfing, hunting, and playing darts and horseshoes.   Surviving are a son, Michael R. Lambright of Washington; three brothers, William Kenneth Killmeyer and Bruce Killmeyer, both of Washington and Terry (Denise) Killmeyer of Jacksonville, Florida; a sister, Mary Jenkins of Washington; his stepmother, JoAnna Killmeyer of Washington; and several nieces and nephews.   Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, January 26th.  Burial will follow in Mt. Prospect Cemetery, Hickory.
