Elizabeth L. “Libby” Temple, 102, of Hickory, died on Sunday, March 12, 2017, in Standish’s Assisted Living, Washington. She was born on January 26, 1915, in Bethesda, OH, a daughter of the late Elijah Clovis Barbe and Artie Martie Maude Eagon Barbe. Mrs. Temple was a 1934 graduate of Barnesville High School, in Ohio. Libby was a homemaker, and enjoyed baking, gardening, and taking care of her family. She was the oldest member of the Hickory United Evangelical Presbyterian Church. On February 7, 1939, she married Benjamin F. Temple, who died on April 11, 1983. Surviving are a daughter-in-law, Elsie S. Temple, of McDonald; a grandson, Brian D. (Sommer) Temple, of McDonald; and a great-grandson, Colton Benjamin Temple. Deceased are three sons, Darrell J. Temple, B. Dale Temple, an infant son, David C. Temple, and a brother, Carl Barbe. Friends will be received on Wednesday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, PA 15301, where services will held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 16, 2017, with Pastor Lou Templeton officiating. Burial will follow in Mt.
