Christina Michele Chicora Oliver, 34, of Washington, died unexpectedly Sunday, August 22, 2010.
She was born July 14, 1976, in Washington, a daughter of Michael A. (Wendy) Chicora of South Park and Betty K. Chicora (Daniel) Black of Sharon.
Mrs. Oliver was a 1994 graduate of Trinity High School and a graduate of cosmetology school.
She was the sole proprietor of Nail Creations in Washington and worked full-time at Children and Youth Services.
Mrs. Oliver was a member of Friendship Community Church and was a volunteer at the Washington Women’s Shelter. She was a fun-loving person who enjoyed music, playing the piano, decorating, crafts, and spending time with family and friends.
In 1996, she married Russell M. Oliver, Jr., who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Alexander, Nicholas and Anakin, all at home; a sister, Danielle Colbert of Washington; a step-sister, Dawn Pettit; a step-brother, Jamie Behanna, both of South Park; grandparents, Kenneth & Inez Hixenbaugh of Claysville, Patricia Sonson of Chino, California, and Ted Chicora of Finleyville; and several aunts, nieces & nephews.
Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, August 26th, with Pastors Meade Lacock and Ed Nicholson co-officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Children’s Hospital, Free Care Fund, One Children's Hospital Drive, Central Plant, Floor 3, 4401 Penn Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15224-1342.
