Eunice Marie Lindley

Eunice Marie Lindley, 78, of Washington, died on Monday, August 23, 2010, at the Washington Hospital. She had been in declining health for several years. Mrs. Lindley was born on February 9, 1932, in Washington, a daughter of William and Lorena Horner Sloneker. She was a homemaker. She attended Trinity Schools. On May 15, 1948, she married Buddy McMasters, Sr., who died on February 3, 1972. On June 3, 1978, she married Archie Lindley, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Buddy McMasters, Jr., of Washington, a daughter, Evelyn McMasters, of Washington; 2 brothers, Sam Sloneker, of Silver Springs, FL and Robert Sloneker, of Illinois; 3 sisters, Dolores Lindley, of Washington; Mona Haught, of Washington and Linda Mossburg, of Zanesville, OH; 4 grandchildren, Randy Addis, Chris Addis, Jeremy McMasters and Jesse McMasters and 2 great grandchildren. Deceased are 3 brothers, Thomas, William “Buck”, Jr. and Richard Sloneker and 2 sisters, Harriett Santek and Betty Moore. Friends will be received Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held on Friday, August 27, 2010 at 1:30 p.m., with Pastor Rick Bruckner officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
