Ronald Eugene Houston, 63, of Washington, died peacefully in his home, Friday, April 2, 2010, with family members at his side, following a lengthy illness.
He was born September 16, 1946, in Washington, a son of the late Charles Houston, Sr. and Grace Anderson Houston.
Mr. Houston worked at Moly Corp and Robinson Pipe.
He was Protestant by faith.
Mr. Houston was a member of the Pulaski Club and loved fishing, hunting, camping, and spending time with his family.
Surviving is his long-time companion, Linda Fazzalare.
Also surviving are two sons, Ronald Eugene (Shari) Houston, Jr., and Cory Houston, both of Washington; two daughters, Alena R. Houston (Howard “Harold”) Weaver, and Carrie (Rob) Hatfield, both of Washington; two brothers, Charles (Adele) Houston, Jr., of Zainesville, Ohio, and Larry (Tammy) Houston, of Washington; three sisters, Delores (Ron) Harton, Debra (Ronald) Evans, and Joni Krizay (Mike), all of Washington; seven grandchildren, Scott D. Howard, Jr., James T. Howard, Elizabeth A. Weaver, Ronald Eugene Houston III, Kayla Lyn Houston, Brittany Lynn Megyesy, and James Glenn Megyesy, Jr.; and a great great grandchild, Madison N. Howard.
Deceased is a sister, Barbara McVeigh.
