Catherine A. Voytek, 81, of Washington, died Monday, November 8, 2010, in Washington Hospital, following a lengthy illness.
She was born August 18, 1929, in Washington, a daughter of Frank Chambers and Leona Camp Chambers.
Mrs. Voytek was a graduate of Trinity High School. She was a homemaker who enjoyed flowers, gardening, canning, crocheting and needlepoint.
Mrs. Voytek was a member of Church of the Covenant and the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Edwin Scott Linton Post 175.
On April 23, 1954, she married Eugene J. Voytek, who died January 24, 2009.
Surviving are two sons, Roger D. (Cathy) Voytek of Washington and Richard A. (Cindy) Voytek of the state of California; a sister, Ilene Hartley of Washington; four grandchildren, Andrew Voytek, Christopher Voytek, Heather Voytek and Robin Voytek; and three great-grandchildren, Timothy, Rebecca and Rachel Voytek.
Deceased are two brothers, Frank Chambers and Arthur Chambers; and a sister, Bonnie Dolan.
Friends will be received Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 395 East Maiden Street, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, November 12th, with Rev. Randy Boyer officiating. Entombment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
