Angeline Marie Logar, 94, of North Franklin Township, died Saturday, November 27, 2010, in her residence.
She was born September 8, 1916, in Southview, a daughter of Frank and Mary O’Corm Klemencic.
Mrs. Logar was the owner of Clover Farm Store for 37 years.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and it’s Christian Mothers, as well as Ladies of the Elks.
She was known for her warmth and generosity. Mrs. Logar enjoyed Polka music and dances, dart ball and spending time with her family.
On June 8, 1936, she married John A. Logar, who died July 14, 1987.
Surviving are a son, John F. (Evelyn “Bossy” Duke) Logar of Washington; a daughter, Geraldine Marie Logar (John S.) Petronka of Washington; grandchildren, John F. (Carol) Logar, Dr. Kathleen Petronka Hutton (Dr. Jeffrey) Klein, Dr. Amy Petronka Hutton (John) McIlwaine, Joni Logar (Mark) Bushmire, Sandy Petronka, Christopher (Wendy) Petronka, Angela Marie Logar Andrews; and great-grandchildren, Torre and Brittany Bushmire, Sierra and Montana Logar, Aleasha and Amanda Andrews, Dora, Paytra and Bram Klein, Isabela and Evan Petronka and Sean McIlwaine.
Deceased are two sisters, Mary Popich and Amy Klemencic.
Friends will be received Sunday from Noon to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Monday, November 29th, in Immaculate Conception Church. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Logar’s name to Immaculate Conception Church, 119 West Chestnut Street, Washington, PA 15301.
