Former Goodwill Ind. sorter enjoyed camping.
Faye Ann Feather, 69, of Washington, died Wednesday, May 12, 2010, in Southmont of Presbyterian SeniorCare, Washington, following a seven-week illness. She was born May 28, 1940, in Washington, a daughter of Emma Pletcher. Mrs. Feather was a sorter for Goodwill Industries for more than 20 years. When she was younger, she enjoyed the outdoors, camping and fishing. She also enjoyed playing slot machines. Her lifelong companion, Charles Manning, survives. Also surviving are two sons, Mike (Diane) Feather of West Alexander and Larry Feather of Washington; two daughters, Debbie Burk and Tracy Till, both of Washington; a sister, Nancy (Paul) Karpan of Washington; seven grandchildren, Newton and Nathan Feather, Nicole Miller, Brittany Feather, Alisha, Jeffrey Jr. and Dylan Till; three great-grandchildren, Levi Corbly, Maddison Gray and Robbie Lape; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are two brothers, Clifford and Robert Pletcher.
Friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 15, in Church of Christ, 700 Allison Avenue, Washington, with the Rev. John Wright officiating.
