Henry Brezinski, 85, of Washington, died on Wednesday, May 19, 2010, in his residence, after a brief illness.
He was born May 16, 1925, in Hopewell Township, a son of John and Lora Dobrosky Brezinski.
Mr. Brezinski was a member of St. Hilary Roman Catholic Church.
He worked for Mong Fab and Machine, Inc., in Houston, PA., as a welder.
He was a member of the Polaski Club, the Polish Club and the Washington Moose Lodge.
He enjoyed watching sports, especially the Steelers and the Penguins. He also loved the outdoors and gardening.
On June 3, 1947, he married Dolores Marie Szokek, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Ronald R. Brezinski and a daughter, Carol Brezinski, both of Washington; 2 brothers, Richard Brezinski, of Washington and James Brezinski, of Hickory; a sister, Helen, of Washington; 5 grandchildren, Jonathan, Samantha Ann, Justin, Chad and Kellie; and 3 great grandchildren, Chloe, Zoey and Nathan.
Deceased are a son, Dennis Brezinski and several brothers and sisters.
Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where a blessing service will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, May 24, 2010, with Father Thomas O’Neil officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
