Gladys Ford Tomazin

Gladys Ruth Ford Tomazin, of Washington, died on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at the Donnell House. She was born in Eighty-Four, a daughter of George and Jenney Owens Ford. Mrs. Tomazin was a homemaker, and was a member of the First Christian Church of Washington. She attended Washington High School. On December 30, 1940, she married Anthony Tomazin in Quartzsite, Arizona. Also surviving are 2 sons, Rick (Carlene) Tomazin, of Portland, Maine and Mark (Nancy) Tomazin, of Daisytown, PA; a daughter, Beth (Mike) Smith, of Washington; also survived by a very devoted niece, Carole Ann Pochiba, of Washington; and 7 grandchildren, Eric (Courtney) Tomazin, Michael and Joseph Tomazin, all of Maine; Ryan (Yan) Tomazin, of Bridgeville; Andrew Tomazin and Michael Smith and Sarah Smith, all of Washington; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are a sister, Mae Ryan and a brother, Clyde Smith. Friends will be received Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held on Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Stephen Smythers officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Donnell House, c/o Washington Hospital Foundation; 155 Wilson Ave, Washington, PA 15301.
