Ramona T. Heiskell

Ramona T. Heiskell, 84, of Washington, died on Saturday, July 24, 2010, at the Washington Hospital, after a brief illness. She was born on May 27, 1926, in Brave, PA, a daughter of Joseph M. and Lulu Gump Tustin. Mrs. Heiskell had worked for Commonwealth Bank in Wellsboro, PA and the First Union Bank. She was a member of Avery United Methodist Church and a lifetime member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter #33, in Westfield, PA, where she had been a past Worthy Matron. Mrs. Heiskell was graduated from West Virginia Business College. On September 5, 1948, she married Edgar O. Heiskell, who survives. She was the last of her immediate family. Deceased are a brother, Denzel Lloyd Tustin and 2 sisters, Frances Corrine Tustin and B. Alberta Tustin. Friends will be received on Tuesday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Additional visitation will be held from 12 to 1, the hour of service, on Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at the Avery United Methodist Church, with Rev. Ruth Simmons officiating. Burial will follow in Greene County Memorial Park. Family suggests memorial donations to the Avery United Methodist Church; 1100 Gabby Avenue, Washington, PA 15301.
