Mary Martha Daley, 50, of Washington, died Sunday, March 21, 2010, in St. Margaret’s Hospital, UPMC, Pittsburgh, following a lengthy illness.
She was born May 29, 1959, a daughter of the late George H. Urista, Sr. and Martha Elizabeth White Urista.
Mrs. Daley attended Trinity Episcopal Church in Washington.
She enjoyed crocheting and doing word search puzzles.
Mrs. Daley was a nurse’s assistant at Humbert Lane for two years.
On July 4, 1999, she married Richard A. Daley, who died February 26, 2001.
Surviving are two sons, James Marvin Urista and Christopher George Urista, both of Washington; a daughter, Martha Virginia Ruschell, of Lakelynn; a stepdaughter, Deena Tarr, of Brownsville; five sisters, Rose M. Urista, of Mesa, Arizona, Dorothy Jenkins, of Washington, Patricia A. Urista, of Canonsburg, Nancy L. Mitchell, of Washington, and Sandra L. Wormsley, of Newport News, Virginia; five grandchildren, Autumn and Miley Urista, A’Dyn Ruschell, Tristan and Hayden Daley. Also surviving are a niece and nephew, with whom she lived, Beth Jenkins, and her husband, Billy Jenkins, Jr.
Deceased are three brothers, George H. Urista, Jr., Henry and James Urista.
A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m., Friday, March 26, 2010, at William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, with Rev. Karen Stevenson officiating.
