Della M. LaSalvia, 79, of Washington, died December 22, 2009, in Washington County Health Center under Hospice Care.
She was born September 24, 1930, in Washington, a daughter of James and Blanche Micky Pratt.
Mrs. LaSalvia attended Good News Fellowship Church and enjoyed reading her Bible, watching Christian television and baking and cooking for her family.
For 20 years, she worked as a nursing assistant at Washington County Health Center.
Surviving are two daughters, Jo Ann (Norman) Ireland and Doris D. (James) Swesky, both of Washington; three grandchildren, Michelle Murray of Canonsburg, Kenneth (Stephanie) Hunnell of Washington and Kimberly (Bill) Holko of West Mifflin; and five great-grandchildren, Jessica, Lindsay, Luke, Chelsy, and Kalie.
Deceased are her first husband, Stephen Franklin Ranegar, Jr., who died April 25, 1973; her second husband, Fred Smith; a sister, Nora Nickerson; and two brothers, Eugene Pratt and Edward Shakelford.
At the request of the deceased, no public will visitation will be held.
