Thelma Jean Jenkins

Thelma Jean Jenkins, 55, of Marianna, died Sunday, June 27, 2010, in her residence. She was born November 19, 1954, in Washington, a daughter of Raymond Garber and Ida Schrader Garber. She was a homemaker who enjoyed baking, shopping and being with her grandchildren. Mrs. Jenkins was Protestant. On October 8, 1988, she married Thomas R. Jenkins, who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Thomas R. (Rayette) Jenkins of Marianna, Kevin Jenkins of Sycamore, and Ernest (Elizabeth) Jenkins of Clarksville; four daughters, Christy Jenkins of Nemacolin, Vicky Jenkins of Clarksville, Amy Jenkins of Presto and Kimberly Jenkins of Marianna; two brothers, Glenn Garber of Canonsburg and James Garber of Washington; a sister, Laura Willhoft of Canonsburg; five grandchildren, Denis Hayes, Jr., Kaitlyn Hayes, Sabrina Post, Cody Jenkins and Destiny Post; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are two brothers, Raymond and William Garber; and two sisters, Mary Spease and Elsie Orndoff. Friends will be received Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 2nd. Burial will follow in Horn Cemetery, Marianna.
