Flora Ann Chase, 71, of Amity, died Monday, June 14, 2010, in Kade Nursing Home, Washington. She had been ill with lung cancer since March.
She was born January 15, 1939, in Avella, a daughter of Joseph and Cleo Randolph Brown.
Mrs. Chase was a clerk for Uni-Mart for ten years. She enjoyed needlepoint, crafts, reading romance stories, and her dog, Bandit.
On September 17, 1985, she married George Franklin Chase, who died October 28, 2008.
Surviving are two sons, Robert Unrue of Amity and James (Shay) Unrue of Clearwater, Florida; two daughters, Kathy (Randy) Allum of West Finley, and Janet Pendergrass of Amity; four brothers, Walter, Norman and Michael Brown, all of Washington, and Roy Brown of Florida; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Deceased are three brothers and four sisters.
There will be no public viewing. A graveside service will be held at National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 331 South Main Street, Washington, PA 15301.
