David Lee Ganier

David Lee “Butch” Ganier, 68, of Washington, died Saturday, June 5, 2010, in his residence. He was born December 16, 1941, in Washington, a son of John Edward and Mary Elizabeth Anderson Ganier. Mr. Ganier graduated from Washington High School in 1959 and was Protestant by faith. He was a member of the Optimist’s Club. He is survived by two sons, Mark Ganier, of Lakeland, Florida, and Robert “R.J.” Ganier, of Fort Payne, Alabama; a nephew, Michael Griffin, of Washington; and his friends, Jerry and Norma Fletcher, of Washington. The family will hold a service at a later date. Arrangements were by William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
