Walter V. Parcha

Walter V. Parcha, 66, of Washington, went with the loving arms of the Lord, on June 5, 2010, in the Donnell House, following a brief illness. He was born on July 15, 1943, in Washington, a son of the late Walter and Elizabeth Brown Parcha. A 1961 graduate of Washington High School, he served his country in the United States Air Force, and was honorably discharged in 1969. He worked at Green Valley Packing for 32 years. Following his retirement, he played golf and made monthly trips to see his grandkids in Enola, PA. On June 21, 1969, he married Linda L. Frye, who survives. Also surviving is his only child, Becky (Patrick) Mulreany, of Enola, PA; and 2 grandchildren, Jenna Elizabeth and Ian Patrick. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m., Monday, at the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, where a service will be held on Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at 2:00 p.m., with Pastor Gary Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
