Charles William Mcclure

Charles William McClure, 80, of Washington, formerly of Fort Pierce, Florida, died Thursday, February 18, 2010, in Greenery Specialty Care, Canonsburg. Mr. McClure was born August 17, 1929, in Hickory, a son of Charles and Elizabeth Coleman McClure. Mr. McClure was Catholic by faith, and was a member of Elks, Moose, Arms Club, the Teamsters, and enjoyed his time in Florida with friends. He was a truck driver for Blue Diamond Trucking for twenty years. His first wife, Mary Alice McClure, died December 16, 1976, and his second wife, Patricia Ross, died July 2001. Surviving are two sons, Tim (Kay) McClure, of Ohio, and Charles W. (Karen) McClure, of Washington; and a daughter, Susan Paul, of Washington. Deceased are a stepbrother, Carroll Lincoln McClure, and a stepson, Anthony Contino. At the request of the deceased, services and interment were private.
