Ilah F. (Sally) Eustis, 78, of Canonsburg, formerly of Washington, died Saturday, February 20, 2010, in Townview Health and Rehabilitation Center, Canonsburg.
She was born May 27, 1931, in Washington, a daughter of Fred and Lillian Hillberry Sim.
Mrs. Eustis was a 1949 graduate of Washington High School.
She was a 50-year member of First United Methodist Church in Washington.
Mrs. Eustis worked in the credit department of J.C. Penney Co. for 22 years.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, gardening and loved to dance.
On March 4, 1950, she married Glenn Eugene Eustis, who died February 26, 2003.
Surviving are a son, Glenn E. Eustis II and fiance Angela Miller of Houston; two daughters, Cynthia (James) LaFond of Baltimore, Md., and Malinda (Mindy) Eustis of Canonsburg; and three grandchildren, Jared (Susan) LaFond, Garren LaFond and Alexander Eustis.
Deceased are five brothers, Norman, Alfred, Herbert, Charles and Rodney Sim; and two sisters, Wilma Logsdon and May, who died in infancy.
Friends will be received from 3 to 8 p.m., the time of service, Tuesday, February 23, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with the Rev. Terry Shaughnessy officiating.
