Dolores (Dolly) Talerico of Washington, died unexpectedly on April 19, 2010, in Washington Hospital.
She was born on April 25, 1930, the daughter of the late Anthony and Anna Mae Cresswell Selvaggi.
On August 25, 1946, she married Thomas Talerico in St. Hilary's church. They were married for 58 years before he passed away.
In addition to being a lifelong homemaker, Dolly spent her younger days employed by Washington Glass as a decorative plate painter. She was also active in the church community and received gratification in helping those less fortunate than her. She was a member of the New Life in Christ Congregation. Dolly's love for life included dancing, music, and spending time with her six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Preceeding her in death, is a brother, Foley Selvaggi.
Surviving are a brother, William Selvaggi of Washington, a son Dominick Talerico of Cortland, Ohio and a daughter, Deborah (Terry) Talerico of Washington; one grandson, Matthew (Kylie) Talerico; five granddaughters, Gerri Talerico (Casimier) Korowicki, Christina (John) Petrock, Selena (Jonathan) Miles, Tiffaney Beddow and Ashley (Tony) Noble; seven great-grandchildren, Nickolas, Robert, Jaden, Amari, CJ, Lindee, Brady; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and Friends will be received from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Additional visitation will be held Thursday, April 22nd, from 10 to 11 a.m., the time of service, in Church of Christ, 700 Allison Avenue, Washington, with Pastor Dan Lutes officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
