Marie Flora Lindley Bennett, 90, of Amwell Township, died Thursday, February 25, 2010, in Donnell House.
She was born March 15, 1919, in East Finley Township, a daughter of Elias Sanford and Minnie Ritchea Lindley.
Mrs. Bennett was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, canning and reading her Bible.
She was a member of Church of the Living God.
On May 21, 1936, she married Arthur Murray Bennett, who died November 27, 1996.
Surviving are four sons, Thomas (Sue) Bennett of Amity, Fred Bennett of Newark, Ohio, Hugh (Frances) Bennett of Bentleyville and John (Karen) Bennett of Washington; three daughters, Nancy (George) Barnhart of Ruff Creek, Karen (Larry) Tennant of Moundsville, West Virginia, and Dale Bennett of Washington; one sister, Dolly Croupe of Cleveland, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a daughter, Thelma Bennett; three brothers, Eugene, Dalton and Elias; and two sisters, Olive and Zona.
Friends will be received 11 to 1 p.m., the hour of service, Monday, March 1st, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 395 East Maiden Street, Washington, with Pastor Adam Wolfe officiating.
